Post Graduate Studies

 Hello Class!

Today I want to tell you about some dreams and hopes I have for my academic future. First of all, I want to finish my actual career that it's sociology, and then I think that I would specialice in an area of my interest. I'm open to the different possibilities that the career offers, but until now,  the area that I want to specialice in is female rights.

The only thing that I am sure about my future is that I want to study abroad for a couple of years, must probably in Mexico or Argentina because I would love to have a master or a PHD from the UNAM or UBA.

  1. Wow, that is very interesting, especially the idea to specialice in female rights. In the future, after we finish sociolgy we could go to Mexico together and study in the UNAM.

I´m going to write about all my careers interests before I decided to study sociology. When I was little my  dream job was to be a ballet dancer because I was part of an academy of ballet and modern dance. Through the years, my desires changes and  growing up I felt really moved by history and art. Before I apply for colleges my first choice used to be international studies and actually I took a year of to improved my score in the PSU test. In that year I learned more about sociology and checking out the curriculum I loved it and it become my first choice.  Until now I really like the career  because I love to learn new views of life and society, by learning about the pass to understand the future. When I graduate I would like to study abroad and live a few years in different countries.

Even though the pandemic limits my hobbies, I really love activities in the nature, have fun with my friends, dancing, and also doing yoga. Nowadays, I spend much of my time studying, wat ching series and drinking a lot of tea.

Last Blog :

Hello Everyone!  I can't believe this is our last blog, times fly! In this opportunity I want to tell you a little bit of myself to let you know why I chosed Sociology as a career. Since I was a child, I really enjoyed reading about different places and cultures, because my mom used to travel a lot for work while we were living in Mexico City. I think that living abroad for some years make me want to keep travelling and explore different places of the world.   That's why I wanted to study international studies at first. But while I keep growing, I developed some urge to be a social actor in important matters in our society, so Sociology was the perfect choice that can allow me to do both. I hope that I can make a good impact in the society (here or elsewhere), while I keep exploring and getting wisdom for people around the world.
